As with the previous album Um, Mac? all the notes are being played by either the volume or the pitch of the radio, and not by a human hand. In the case of the different parts of Moment's Clarity, I controlled the volume quite carefully and found I could get some simple chance music. There were some quite lengthy parts, which seemed to want to be heard on their own. These are what is presented here.

The tracks have been edited, but not extensively. Not wishing to discard anything too hastily, I created a track which was a dumping ground for all the bits that had been edited that weren't intented for use. Together they formed a shadow; the other side of Moment's Clarity.

And so, to show that the clavinova/radio technique has implications for musical forms other than aleatoric, I created Application for Noise.
